NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
2025-2028 CONSTRUCTION WORK PLAN
Steuben Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc., with headquarters in Bath, NY (hereinafter called "Steuben" or the "Owner"), is seeking proposals from qualified power line construction contractors (hereinafter called the "Bidder" or "Contractor") to provide the necessary labor and equipment to complete various electric distribution line projects under its 2025-2028 Construction Work Plan.
The work will consist of multiple projects located within Steuben County, New York, including:
- Project 312 - Reconductoring approximately 13.5 miles of 1ph #4 ACSR to 1ph 1/0 ACSR, including significant pole replacements.
- Project 316 - Reconductoring approximately 13.5 miles of 1ph #4 ACSR to 1ph 1/0 ACSR, including significant pole replacements.
- Project 317 - Reconductoring approximately 6.5 miles of 1ph #4 ACSR to 1ph 1/0 ACSR, including significant pole replacements.
Bidders will be required to submit unit pricing for RUS construction assembilies as well as hourly rates for personnel and equipment for non-routine work activities. Sealed proposals must be clearly labeled "2025-2028" Construction Work Plan Bid Package" and received at Steuben Rural Electric Cooperative, 9 Wilson Avenue, Bath, NY 14810, no later than December 1, 2025.
